I am a Graphic Artist

Yes, that's what I am; I have been doing this type of work for the past 21 years. Heck! I started during the time, when computers where just being used for accounting and programming, all you could see is a black screen with green letters on it. Never dreamed how technology has rapidly advanced thru the years! Now the artist and even non-artist have all these gadgets and software program to make it easy to make their own masterpieces. In those days, you have to use your hands and skills to present your work, being a newcomer, I experienced a lot of rejection and frustrations that sometimes made me decide to quit and look for another job. But I had no choice; I had to stick it out 'cause I needed the little money that it pays. Why am always stuck in situations where I can't quit? I don't know, is it because of the saying that "quitters never win"? Maybe just maybe, there's still something left for me at the end of my journey.

My Minolta

I'm using a Minolta Dimage Z-1 digital still camera. A 3-megapixel camera that I've bought second hand at a very cheap price too low to publish. I've shot a lot of nice pictures with my Z1, although it's got some bad reviews from various tech sites, I am happy using it. It's fast, and just the right size, Recently, I plugged-in a high-speed 2 gig SD card and the performance got even better. Maybe in the future, if I got lucky and earned some extra cash to buy myself those new digital SLRs I would still keep my reliable Z1!
